evo 4 whine on rear!

Hi wondering if anyone has any helpfull pointers, have an evo 4 on a p plate. has an intermittent whine from rear. sounds rotational as slows when slowing car. noise comes and goes at any speed from crawling to up to 180kph. originally sounded as if something catching a rear wheel but not the case! any help would be gratefull.

Dificult with out hearing it though...

cant be a bearing as not there all the time AYC light just come on
