evo 4 speedo and rev counter problems plz help

hi ive just sold my cossie for a evo 4 i thought i found a great car but no i was driving the evo home looked down after 30 mins no clocks drove home slowly lol next day started car clocks working again again after 30 mins no clocks left they worked again ive check clock connections all ok ive check speedo convertor ie removed it clocks didnt work is there any like relays ecu plz help me thanks all

Not too sure to be honest matey, does it work at all without the converter? Sounds like a loose/dodgy connection somewhere...

clocks work but after 20mins or so they stop even if car just sat ticking over and dont work til next day i removed the convertor with same outcome ive then removed hks turbo timer same out come seems something getting hot and shutting down but takes a day to work again thanks for reply

Sounds daft matey but you checked the temp sensor? Know what you mean about teething problems, we've had to pay out about £400 to get the LPG working correctly

hi mate no just revs speedo and mileage temp and fuel work fine and all lights work fine on the clocks as i can tell

Hmmmm I dont know. I was going to say convertor but youve removed that you say...
