Evo 4 problem

Hi, I am new to this site have a problem today have had my new evo4 for couple weeks, came with no handbook, today when driving it sort of spluttered and the engine management light came on and the light next to it on the right, they then both went out car ran for couple of minutes then same thing so drove back home took 5 min no more problems, any thought's. The light is red the shape of a Xmas cracker with 3 red squiggles above it.

If im thinking correctly that is the cat temp light to tell you if it's overheating

Any idea's if its got a decat on?
