Hi!
I'm from The Netherlands so I want to apologize in advance for my bad English writing. I hope you'll understand what I try to clarify about a problem with my Evo IV.
I'm new to this forum and I own a Lancer Evo IV 1996. Recently my engine has strange hick ups. While driving one time the needle of the tachometer dropped to almost zero and it felt as if the engine almost stopped and then went on. Especially when I have to lower speed and I put my foot on the clutch pedal and want go to stationairy engine run (i.e. waiting in front of a traffic light),my engine stops. After a minute or so the engine starts normally but the problem will repeat it self. While driving in a lot of traffic it's a big problem when suddenly the engine stops.
I hope some of you recognize this problem and can tell me what kind of engine failure I have.
