Evo 4 center brake light

I'm about to take my Evo 4 through Japanese Inspection and when checking the lights I noticed the center brake light, the one at the base of the rear spoiler is out. Does the entire spoiler need to come off to get at this thing? I checked the wiring harness with a voltmeter and the harness is supplying voltage, so I think it might be the LED bar itself or maybe the wiring running under the spoiler.

Yeah thats a spoiler off job unfortunatly. Shouldnt be too bad to get it off though. Mine wasnt anyway.

Its not too bad to get spoiler off. Front bumper is much worse!!!
Where are you at in Japan?

Wasn't real excited about getting through that double sided tape. I messed with the wiring a bit and got the light to come back on, might be a short that I relieved. The front bumper didn't seem too tough, but the last 2 bolts on either side under the headlights I couldn't get to because the prior owner installed HID projectors and they are so tight a fit that I'm not sure I'll be able to get them out without breaking them. I have a fog light out but I might be able to get the bulb out from behind it.

I'm in Okinawa Japan near Camp Courtney, it's right in the middle of the island on the East Coast.
