Hi All
I am just in the process of looking to buy an Evo4, everything the guy has told me about it seems ok and he seems very honest, but as i have not had one of these before i would like to know if there is anything in particular to look out for. It has 85k miles, full history and recent clutch, cam belt, all fluids. Are there any noises i should listen for that on any other car is acceptable but not on a Evo meaning something is about to break. I am a mechanic and can check the obvious faults but i know all cars have their own little unique faults.
Also literally everyone i have looked at has the seat bolster collapsing fault, so i wondered if anyone can tell me if all the seats ( front & back and door cards from a Evo 6,7 or 8 will fit. I have seen one on the net with the conversion and asked him if it all fitted ok but he has not got back to me and i dont want to spends loads on the interior and if it is going to be right.
