Hi Guys,

Im new to here and I have just acquired a 1994 Evo 2 GSR Jap import, the problem I have is it’s been kept in storage for the last 11 years and the guy that was storing it has lost the keys, I don’t know much about it, would it have an immobiliser? How/where would I be able to get a new key, possibly the locks and ignition barrel too? The steering lock is also on if that makes a difference?

Yes, there is an immobiliser.

You will need a Lock Smith that can cut a key and programme it.

There may also be an aftermarket Alarm / immobiliser.

There’s not an aftermarket alarm or anything installed, the cars still in storage but it needs to be taken from where it is and moved as the guy is selling up where it’s stored, it’s obviously a problem because the steering lock is on and can’t be manouvered easily to get it on the trailer and into the new garage
