Engine light on, evo7

Hi guys my evo 7 has always had the eml light on,
Plugged in the cable, faults are egr and that's removed from the car,
Evap,
They have been removed of my car now I'm stuck with the light on,
How can I sort this out as fed up seeing it on, there's two plugs on the left hand side of the intake just sitting there I gather to do with solioneds for the egr and evap,
Any help I'd be so apricated

You can reset it, but it will reset all radio stations and clocks etc

Remove both positive and negative terminals from the battery

With both terminals in hand( obviously not connected to the battery) touch them together for 5 seconds or so it resets the electrics

Them reconnect to battery, job done

I've done it on my 8 a few times
