Hi guys.
I'm in need of some help what's the difference between the two EVO 4 engines and how to I find out what ones in my car.
There's two I've found 4g63 and 4g64 but what one is mine the. Car was first registered in 1996 so I beleive its the early EVO 4
So can anyone help

Thanks ill take a look when I get two mins so is there a big difference between the motors like what's the best to use..

The 64 is not an evo engine and not a Sirius either. It just has a taller deck height and had know oil squirters. Apart from that the oil and water ways were similar if not identical. All internal/auxiliary parts are interchangeable between them.

Any other codes will give more specific info as to which model evo.
