I'm having problems with my alarm system and now my fuel pump won't kick in and she won't start ?

I've never had to before :-/
It's going back Friday but I've tried to play about (I'm a truck mechanic) but the fuel pump just won't kick in and I'm sure it's the Alarm (safer way to spell it lol)

Immobiliser could be a problem. Have you checked you havent blown a fuse?

Should be fairly easy to do away with the immobiliser

I've checked the fuses - it was driving shitty then wouldn't start after cutting out the imobaliser wouldn't turn off (dash lights wouldn't come on that's how I know) and know she just won't fire at all but ad I said I can't hear the fuel pump kick in when I turn the ignition on ?

I would have a look if you were closer pal, I gave up with garages for this very reason, HGV mechanic snap! Jus do it all yourself I do. Is the light on the immobiliser going out?

The light is going out mate, everything looks ok on that front - it's just not firing :-(

Personally I would disconnect the fuel pipe at the filter or rail, switch on the ignition and see if you get fuel through. If yes then thats going to rule out your pump, if no then fuse, pump, relay or blocked filter. You said it was running shitty so could be a blocked filter. :thinking:

Not sure what alarm it is but I will find out tomorrow -
I will try the fuel rail tomorrow
