Hi there, unfortunately I don't know the guy.
Sorry to slightly change the subject, but as I'm here I thought I could ask: I'm planning to buy a car and since I'm not much of a mechanic and I hate fixing cars I'm going to stick to Japanese makes as I was told they rarely break down. I thought of Nissan Almera, but strangely enough I can barely find any ads on that model. Have you seen it on some web services? If things don't work out with Almera I think I'll stick to Altima: LINK REMOVED Did you have a chance to drive it?

If you are looking for a nissan almera then you will find shed loads on the autotrader website.

£400 or so will get you a 2000 model, they are failure cars as is the primera, you are better of with a toyota corolla 1.6 16v. try to get a clean m reg, it is a trouble free car and keeps it value.

Come back when you have evo.

Good luck.

Hi fingers,
I have been meaning to get back to you mate but things have been chocka.

There is a way to confirm what you are asking but I need you to fill in the gaps:

Did you buy the car and an extra engine???
Was the engine already in the car???
How was it advertised and where???
What was the description in the ad???
Where did you collect it from (town and area, full address would be great)
How did you pay???
What does it say on you receipt???
What date did you buy the car???

Tell me the whole story of how you got the car and what transpired there in.

I will help you deal with it with regards to piston identification and resolving the issue with this trader.

Please answer the questions in the order they are laid out.

hiya mate, think you have the wrong end of the stick.

i bought just an engine off this guy.

the engine could have been seen running but i lived too far away and my mechanic said it would have run for all of 10 miles anyway.

it was advertised on ebay ( iknow iv been kicking myself ever since!!) and was advertised as a complete, fully running, perfect engine

it was delivered to my mechanics garage in the south east but it came from blackburn

i paid £150 deposit on paypal and £1200 cash ( again kicking myself!)

the drivers did a runner before we got a reciept

i bought the engine about 2 months ago

hope this helps

Never mind. You live, you learn.

A rebuild is always the best way to go. You know what is wrong with it and you replace the damaged internals. A little more money but well worth it.

In extreme cases it is better to buy from an established breaker, at least you get 3 months money back guarantee.

Never mind.

An update for you Fingers

An update on Ejaz Hussain AKA 5ubaru AKA PeterKing

Thanks for that input John,
it is more or less, in fact less than what I have unearthed buddy on PeterKing or should I say Ejaz Hussaiin who is in fact not just a rogue trader but an out right liar and a thief that obtains money by deception which also amounts to him being a con merchant as well as a parts merchant!!!!

I am 100% sure that the PeterKing from the MLR is the same PeterKing that is registered with us which is why I gave him the chance to give his side of the story yesterday when he was online, which he did not, so I have to take it as a sign of his guilt.

I advise all members to avoid buying from PeterKing as I very much doubt that you will get what you pay for. If you do, it may well be 50-50 that what you receive is up to scratch. If you have purchased any items from him then please, please PM me right away and let me know how you got on.

I will put up my findings later on today or tomorrow as I need to go through the whole lot, some of it is disgusting, so I would prefer to leave it out as there will be many out for blood as you are well aware John. He has ripped some people off to the tune of over £5k. He has called people round to view cars who have travelled hundreds of miles and then not shown up himself but rather watched from the back ground when he has seen that they are bigger then him and might just knock him out for having wasted their time.......
He has wasted many an ebayers time too by winning cars and then breaching the rules afterwards.

A couple of our members have been ripped off by him and by his own statement he has told them it is their stupidity/fault that he has had their pants down!!!!!

All in all, I do not think he will be happy with what I have unearthed.

El

I can confirm PeterKing is subject to a temporary ban whilst some members sort out disputes with him.
Reactivation may occur depending on the results of the disputes.
