Difference between 8mr turbo gsr

Hi could any1 help is their any other difference in the turbos apart from the 8 gsr has 9.8 t hot side and the 8 mr has 10.5 t hot side single flap are the compressor wheels and housing the same size as if they are was going to just change the hot side on my gsr turbo to the mr one

Hot side is the only difference from a mr to gsr turbo. You can fit a hot side off an older 6 turbo. Sure you can fit a 80 series hot side.
