its more what the transmission will take so aiming for 380Lbft

That's going to be sweet! It should take more torque than that though as my dads is running 190/200bhp with around 440lb torque on standard Td5 transmission!

Yeh forgot that bit! Simon do you know the final drive ratio of it? What diffs it running? Any A.R.B Diff lockers fitted? I noticed the wheel on the front is from a Discovery II ie P38/freelander stud pattern so is it running stud adaptors or Late Disco II/P38 axles?

Now your talking geek code lol, from what ive been told its a 6 speed bmw box. The transfer "direction swapper?" is completely custom made from billet, the builders calculation reckons he`ll do 114mph in 6th.

Simon it all depends on what it's going to be used for tbh! If it's being built like the bowler wild cats and going to be used on similar terrain as they are ie Dakar etc then no not really but if its being used as a challenge truck then that's a different ball game!
