dash lights

Hi ive just bought a Evo 8 gsr and im a bit puzzled about the dash lights.
They seem to be pretty dull at night i can see them but not very well its only the speedo and rev counter thats like this the clock and cd player light up fine.Is there a way to adjust the brightness of this or Is this just how there supposed to be?

Is the CD player aftermarket? My Dash isn't particularly bright either but hasn't bothered me, too busy looking at the road!

Yes its aftermarket could this be taking the power from the dash lights?

Wouldn't have thought so, may just be that the CD player being naturally brighter than the dash makes it appear even dimmer. Could try unplugging the CD player just to see.

Yes ok ill try that and see what happens. Its not a major issue anyway i was just curious to see if it was normal thanks ill let u no how i get on
