cuts off when the car is hot

hey , i own an evo 4 96 , when the car is cold (im not talking about the water or oil heat )it drives perfect but after 45 min of driving under the sun it start to cut off at 3500 rpm (approx) , and then i let if cool off again it will start to work fine , i ve checked the spark plugs where ok , i was thinking can it be from the feul pump ?
or what is it from.

What's the temp gauge doing at this point? I'm hoping it's not head gasket related, and the car is overheating.

thanks again , ill try to change the cam sensor , cause i live in Armenia its a small country and there is 5 evo's totall in here ,and half of the them havnt heard about the car , And NO car parts either , so ill buy it from ebay and change it myself .
