Con Air or Air Con?

Hello all,

Started to look at the little things on the car today that need doing and I have come across what looks like a missing aircon hose.. see the pictures I have red circled the bits I'm talking about...can any one shed any light on this for me please, its a 4 with a 5 engine guys..

Very possible. Just trying to work out what's missing there best suggestion is a pipe but I think the layout is different to my car. Try pull up a pic of a bay for your engine and see what u can see and replace and get gassed

Yes pipe is missing but it doesn't link both those holes together. The one closest to front of car is where the pipe attaches then it loops straight down between rad and exhaust to the aircon pump below

Pipe is visible here with its heat protection wrapped around it

Yeah, I can see it now..oh, so that's what I'm after?...are they all the same on the 4's and 5's, well, it shouldn't make a difference really as it was only my engine changed..

Should be yea. There are a couple cars being broken for spares on here

The other circle is on your power steering pump. First one is as mentioned goes from your aircon rad to the pump below.

Thanks again, is there a pipe missing from the PS pump you think? the hole looks very clean, like there has been something in there?

Again, looking at the manual it doesn't appear to be, worst case scenario it held a heat shield.

ah ha..I have a heat shield type thing in the boot of the motor, think it was a half circle shape, cant remember now?
