So I thought id have a go at fitting my coltspeed carbon surround today, so I popped off the normal surround and stereo and cage came out no worries.
Then I got all clips off old fascia and put them onto the new one.
The issue ive got is the stereo fits lower into the fascia than the OEM fitment, when the oem stereo is fitted it is bolted in 4 places behind the fascia plate (im assuming the standard stereo uses these fixing points rather than a cage )
With the coltspeed surround you get stereo brackets to move the OEM stereo down into the coltspeed fascia, however to fit you need the original bracket the OEM stereo uses to bolt into the 4 places as mentioned above.
Anyone got any ideas or have I got to get brackets made up???
You can see the two brackets I need here in the pic
Or I need these two parts ive circled in red if anyone knows where ????
