Basically Friday night my rear diff went bang. Had a loud noise when I just come onto boost in 2nd and was expecting to see a rod on the floor.
Found out it was the rear diff and oil was pissing out of it, had no visual holes from what I could see. Car has literally just ticked over to 60k on an S reg with most service history.
My ABS light is constantly on but I know it's my rear left sensor. The AYC light comes on 5 minutes after driving also but I've read that it's due to the ABS light being on as the AYC light is never on when first started.
Would the ABS light and AYC light have any bearing on why the diff has failed? also I can get a 50k evo 7 rear diff for pretty cheap. Is it a simple case of using my drive shafts and diff hanger and that be that?
