First off sorry for posting what is probably an annoyingly common thread, i have searched and read alot already on the topic but just wanted some input on the following.

Has anyone bought from or had any experiences with paulbrowncars....

Used Cars | Paul Brown

They seem to have a number of clean looking examples in. However im fully aware of what may be beyond the shiny paint and vacuumed interior! Im considering paying for an AA inspection on the car i finally decide on, i wouldn't expect a faultless report on an Evo 5/6 due to age etc but it might give me some peace of mind. What do you guys reckon?

This is posted on another evo site aswel, just trying to get as much info before i part with 5k upwards

Cheers

Mark

Not had any experience with these guys I got mine from churches performance cars who in all honesty I would never buy a car off again but hey ho. The main thing to bear in mind is its only a car at the end of the day so buying advice is same as most. Check that it's been under sealed as its an import, check the ayc light is off as should be, go on a decent test drive not a 5 minute jobbie, listen for strange noises. Service history is a must for a lot of people but for me it's proof of service, do the serviceable items look like new?? And after its down to price get as much off as you can :)

Paul Brown has a bad name dude, personally id stay away  dont waste the money on an inspection just dont look at their cars!

Google "paul brown cars" and youll get some results, they do differ in opinion but it seems most of the evo opinions arent good
