Buyers guide (sort of)

New Member
Im in the market for an Evo 10 and I've set my heart on the fq360 model as it's the one that comes with the manual 'box. I don't want an auto as I've read a lot of horror stories about them and I want to be able to add power later on without worrying about weather or not the 'box can take it, plus I'm more of a driver and enjoy a manual 'box any way. Now, can anyone help me in terms of what to look for when buying one? I'm very knowledgeable with cars and have been working with them for over 20 years, but is there anything specific I should be looking for like certain noises etc that shouldn't be there, what to expect from a test drive that no other vehicles would produce that sort of thing, is high mileage an issue etc, what work should've been done etc etc. Thanks for taking the time to read my post and I hope to be part of the Evo community soon.
