got it today seems good, all the ones ive seen are segmented and welded, this one seems to be in one piece, no welds except on flanges any comments?

Might be Ok but mandrel bends are notorious for crackin up on ya sooner or later as they stretch in the bends and the tube becomes thinner at those points that's why most pro's tend to fillet weld. They do tend to get well hot during boost ya know!.........Well worth what ya paid for it though still imo.

as above, better manifolds are welded in sections because its thicker steel (harder to bend)

im a fabricator welder so i will be re welding welds and die/pen the welds for cracksthen agood polish up

As the others have said already, at the price you got it buddy, there is no way you can go wrong.

Get some pics up when fitted and try to supply us with before and after shots please!!!

I have heard of JG, they are known mostly in the States and are quite big on the EK9 scene.

They specialise in performance internals as well as inlet plenums/intake manifolds/cams and lifters etc.

Their range does extend to supercharger hard pipe kits too as well as exhaust sections so I guess they know what they are up to.

I was not really aware of the fact that they produce for the Evo scene too........You live and learn!!!
