Boost issues help please!

Hi everyone ive got a couple of questions , about my evo v
As i said in previous post im new to the evo scene, do could do with a bit of help!
On full boost it hits around 14psi is this the normal standard boost?

As it approaches full boost it seems to back off and on with the power i dont know if the boost controllers have issues or
The dump valve on the car looks like a single piston could this cause it?
I have got a remapped ecu to put on the car once i fit the blitz downpipe ive got but to achieve the 1.5 bar of boost will i need a 3 bar sensor? Or just aafter market controller like avcr?

It will need a 3 port and remapping, I wouldn't be swapping your current ecu for one mapped on another car!

Oh ok thats great , how much is a map? Stage 1 ? The ecu had ecutek on it i think?
Also coukd you tell me a good 3 bar boost controller?
