boost gauge install

following my boost problem i have got a boost gauge.

just wondering am i right in thinking that the vacume pipe attached to the throttle body is where i tap off from

Yes its usually the same one that the dump valve uses.
if you've got a dump valve follow that back to the inlet and thats where it goes.

yep all in now and up and running looks gd now i know wot im pushing its a touch over 1 bar about 1.1 i would say. do you think thats ok for an 54 plate evo 8?

You want to get it set around 1.4

It will become a different car altogether buddy.

1.1 is good for the wallet though!!!

ok may leave it a 1.1 atm so my bank account has a chance to repair its self lol

so is the best way to get the boost to 1.4

controller mayb?

Controller will be the safest way as you can rely on what you are being told.

There are many other devices out there but we can cross that bridge when your bank account gets there!!!

I have some one in mind that will make that car put a right smile on your face buddy, all in good time though;)

is the car a 260? if so the boost is probably right.

if its a fq/mr then it should be running more boost as standard.
