boost gauge evo 6

Ive just bought a prosport boost gauge for my evo 6. I just wanted to know where the best place is to wire it up? Also has anyone got a diagram of how they did it, thanks.

Best place to get a +ve feed is from either the cigarette lighter or stereo, the -ve should just be grounded onto the car. Take the boost feed from the BOV line.

i have 3 wires on the boost gauge an orange 1, red 1, and black. Obv black to ground, red it says to ignition switch and orange to 12v lighting. So out of the orange and red which dont i need?

You need all 3 otherwise you won't be able to see it at night.

Take feeds from the cigarette lighter if you want as you'll find both + live and illumination feeds there

just tested it now, put the orange and red wires together touched the back of the wire in the cig lighter along with the ground and (ting) result

You can wire both the orange and red to the +live or you can do the orange separate to the live that lights up the bulb on the cigarette lighter so the gauge only lights up when you turn your lights on.

got it all wired an tubed up today, went out to test the boost an its just below 1 bar? is that what it should be?

That's actuator pressure. Steve you sure boost shouldn't be a little higher ??
