Hi all,
Just after some advice really.
Have recently bought my first Evo a 2004 FQ-330, standard except for a de-cat and boost guage as far as I know.
Am looking to change the standard for an aftermarket BOV, and just wondered what the census on the best option was?
Also while am here have a slight boost drop from peak 1.35bar down to 1.18Bar when at full throttle, only a very quick dip, but there none the less. The car has a Blitz variable boost guage fitted, Spec s i think, and this is on the 'M' setting.
Also any advice on the set up of the guage would be greatly appreciated.
Modes 1 and 2 limit the boost to 0.5Bar.
Modes 3 and 4 seem to not control boost at all (had a minor heart attacked when i looked at the guage and was boosting 2.2, thankfully only the once though, and hopefully nothing to do with causing the problem mentioned above....)
Mode 'M' seems the best which limits boost to 1.35Bar
and off which limits it to 0.75Bar
any help / guidance would be much appreciated.
Thanks
