Hi there my evo v has a battery drain it lasts a coupleof days then thats it completly flat!
I noticed the ignition barrel that lights up is staying lit even after key is removed and car is locked! Im hoping this is it as ive been scratching my head!
Whst could cause this? A faulty ignition switch not clicking off?

That light should go out after a short time. Just watch and see :)

Failing that, battery's don't seem to last these days so if it's over a year old it's probably knackered :)

Take car to a garage and get them to test the outputs from battery first. There are ways of testing for drains etc :)

Id also Look into the door/interior lamp switches , one might be Stuck open. The alarms Fitted to these Cats cause the door open indicator to go out even If the door isnt closed ...

under my car
iv'e got the same problem, my car is off the road at the mow and if i leave the battery connected its flat in a couple of days,if i disconnect it it will start weeks later no problem, was thinking about fitting a battery isolator so i don't have to keep disconnecting the battery.

I've just been and got a new battery, again, this morning.

Bought a bosch s3 a year and half ago and with the 3 year warranty I've swapped it for a new one twice now. Saying that I rarely use my car, normally holds charge for a month or so before its flat.
