AYC Diff Removal

I have an Evo 4 rear diff with AYC.........Looking for my options in removing the AYC. Is the best option or even my only option to go for an RS rear diff?

Some aftermarket lsd's fit in the case and either work with or without the ayc. None of them say they must still have the ayc...
But it's normally the case that breaks. So upgrading to an rs setup is normally preferred.
