astra GSi turbo

hey all, im new to the site but thought id show you what im going to be doing with my astra turbo as im after a turbo upgrade and rather than spending thousands on garrett items etc im going to be fitting a TD05 turbo from the EVO. they have quick spool up times and are good for my 300bhp engine

this is how my astra stands at the minute with a standard K16 turbo unit, but the oil seals have started to go so upgrade time. . . .

my astra has gone through some extensive work, engine rebuild, respray, new panels etc.

there is alot of similar features between the evo and vauxhall turbo engines, even the ports for the exhaust manifold line up spot on. . . . and with them both being front mounted turbo`s makes it easy to use the evo turbo on my engine.

I have a thread up in the wanted section for the parts i need so hopefully get what i need asap so i can crack on

thanks mate, its took a good 3 years for me to build the whole car, but only thing i havnjt upgraded is the turbo. think i may go tubular manifold with the td05 turbo

no no no....no to the tubular manifold unless it is a pro custom job! i have td05 in great condition if you want to go that way.
