Are 4 to 9 rear coilovers the same ????

Hi guys my rear passenger Coilover on my 8 has lost its dampening and is now really noisy over bumps are they the same on evos 4- 9 as i need a replacement and don't want to buy a full set so will buy a pair of used rears off eBay or does any1 have any on here cheers
