annoying rattle

i have had this rattle from the front of my engine and its coming from where the actuator joins the turbo hotside .
so i have taken the actuator off ,is this lever in the photo ment to be lose or stiff to move

The rattle could be down to the incorrect pre-load on the actuator, effectively causing valve chatter on the wastegate because it cant close properly, was the actuator pre-loaded correctly mate? Is the car boosting fine?

gunner change the actuator cos the arm has been bent a little but its sounds like something rattling inside then a chatter noise

I had this on my 4 it turned out to be the valve in the wastegate some people weld them but i changed mine to a 10.5 hotside.

it sounds about right , does it run better with 10.5 and how much do they go for mte

does the rattle go when the turbo is hot? if so then probably is a loose penny valve.

is worst when you lift your foot up of the throttle when slowing down , gunner strip it down this weekend and have alook

Mine rattled cold or hot.

Not sure what they go for to be honest i got a newer turbo off of a 6tme in the end and then up to a e9 turbo
