advice please

noticed engine temp shot up, smelt hot
wheni got home noticed wet on garage floor, when i put water in the tank it pissing out bottom of engine, im guessing water pump is dead... if so will i need to replace cam belt aswell...

any idear of cost for this?

First off how hot did you let it get before you noticed? Secondly your best off locating the actual problem area as it might not be as involved. Thirdly if any belt is removed it should always be replaced imo, hope this helps

got standard E6 dials, first noticed it was half the temp gauge, at one point(while looking for services or shop to buy bottled water from as it had no coolant left - it reached 2 notches below the max on the temp gauge......pulled over and let it cool at this point - why ould have cused some damage?

going to rack my jack and ael stands out later and locate the source, as ar is low i could see with it on the ground - it looked like it leaking from the left area of engine, running along itbefore dripping on floor.

if its coming from the left of the engine as you look from the front yes could be water pump. well if the engine heats up too much could cause no end of probs, you might want to get a sniffer test done to make sure head gasket is ok, if it was momentary you might be lucky.
