Hi,
I have an Evo 8 Mr
I have just done a full AC install as it had been deleted.
I managed to get a decent set if used pipework, along with a new condenser (dryer attached etc) and new aftermarket compressor.
I have filled the system with 510g (18oz) of r134a, and the air con seems to be working however is not quite cool enough.
As such I used a manifold gauge to measure the pressures which are no way near where they need to be.
The low side was was sat around 30 and dropped to almost 0 when the compressor kicks in.
The high side was sat around 50 and went up to about 60 when compressor kicked in.
Although i weighed the refrigerant I thought it may still be low based on pressures. I added some more.
This helped a little, but the pressures are still low.
LP - 35 compressor off, 12.5 compressor on.
HP. - 50 compressor off, 65 compressor on.
For info the ambient temp was 10-12 degrees C
AC temp at vent only went down to about 8 degrees.
I added UV dye when i filled the system and cannot see any leaks anywhere.
I would grateful of any help.
