Abit of advice please :)

Hello guys,

Basically just after some advice on the best way to go really!

My 4 recently decided to die (I'm sure isn't a surprise for you lot to hear haha),typically hadn't read much into them before buying and wasn't aware of the many issues the 4 engine seems to have!

Either way, once funding allows I'm determined to have my 4 on the road again, all be it with a later engine in. Really what I'm after is what engine I should buy, my intentions are to buy an 8 engine from a company called jap-performance parts and I'm looking at about £1700 for the engine, is that any good?

What would you guys advise !?

we have engines in stock here, your best bet is to buy one with the least miles and the most service history and if your very lucky one which has been running standard power. those are the main criteria that i would be looking for if i were yourself
