only if he owns a subs! i think he is having a laugh mate. mind you, theres many veriations in the subs there may be a version that is a kind of match for match.
it is very unlikely i think. if the output is the same then why do they get left for dust:confused:
is it down to crappy driving skills:confused:

Mr Lancer,
your friend might have been smiling when he told you but that does not mean that he was having a laugh, they are indeed 60/40. You should know that being an MOT man!!!

I think you are doing the confusing here LOL!!!

You should have worded the question correctly. Poor Dave must have thought you were talking about the Horse power output at the wheels as opposed to at the fly wheel.

You are talking about ratio and he is talking about Horses. Well that's what I am reading from where I am standing.

Any way buddy, you have your answer. Thanks for popping round the other day. Your only around the corner, come by and you can learn some more.

by the way i went on google & put a search on the transmission for the evo.
its a ferguson layout all wheel drive.
epicyclical centre diff with 50-50 % front & rear torque distribution.
the final drive ratio on my 4gsr would be 4.529 as for the 4rs is 4.875.
this is already what i know but is this correct or a pile of heap given on the net '

The RS is 60/40 buddy.
When comparisons are made they are made on the WRC specs.

The GSR is 50/50 so your 70/30 is wrong too.
