18" ET alloy question

What ETs will clear the brembos on my evo? Im looking to change my standard 17s with either 18 x 8/8.5/ or 9 alloys and with 235/40 tyres. I had something like ET40 in mind. Thanks

im sure others know how the evo handles this size wheel better than i do

but be careful that by doing this your not going to make your cars handling go to pot by fitting bigger wheels

Im in a dilemma. I dont know whether to get another set of 17s or upgrade to 18s. I see alot of evo 8s with 18s though.
