The mesh on my front bumper is looking tacky due to the fact some of the black has come of. I have sorted the bonnet vent and door pillars today but as for the mesh in the bumper i have not got time to take the bumper of to do it so whats your thoughts on simply masking up and doing it i know it will also make the intercooler matt black so what you think

Cheers
Marty

Get some matte black paint or whatever you want to use, spray some onto the lid and use a brush to fill it in as a stop gap until you can take off the bumper mate :D

You will also find it would be better to have the mesh powdercoated as you will be forever touching it in with paint, so powdercoat would be a lot more resilient to stone chips:)

The brush worked well i did not get any pics :( cheers jonny. The bonnet vent i had to mask the bonnet up went to undo the 10mm nuts and did not like the feeling of them last thing i wanted was them to snap. Also masked the doors up and re-painted the black pillars they had faded to grey and also re-painted the wiper arms look much better now :)

i used satin black cos the finish is better than matt black

also i removed the bumper and took the mesh out so i could give it a good wire brushing before pant

now i got the car in september and i think i done the mesh in november, recon it lasted untill march and i had to do it again :hm: and guess what.... its now june and now needs doing again :(

this time i will be going for sand blating and powder coat :)
