there isa poll attached whats your thoughts on the motorsport in general. imo

f1 is great, frustrating as they keep changing the rules but keeps it fair and good to see all the drivers adapting

touring cars is full of action, not really my game though

rally has always been a faveriout for me and where my love of the evo came about when i was a little boy

drag racing i have never really had a go properly but can see the mass appeal of trying to strip of those vital seconds and getting that perfect start

Rallying for me as well, I used to work in a bodyshop and my boss used to compete and rent out mk2 escorts as well. Seen loads of rallys from the RAC Lombard to Epynt 1000 lanes. I luvs it butt:wub:

I voted Rally. Cant beat a good Escort screaming through the forest at high speed...after all it is the most successful rally car ever made. F1 is great and i used to watch it many years ago. Touring Cars is great too, the old stuff is better, the RS500 is the greatest Touring car ever made.

Now this drag crap is, well crap.....just plain boring watching a car drive in a straight line.

Out of that lot, touring car, rally too, but prob touring car has the slight edge. However my number 1 motorsport of choice is the MotoGP.

Defo rally for me. Not as good as it used to be 5 or so years ago. Enjoy the touring cars too.

I remember when the Audi quattro took over in the rallies

Of the choices above I would have to go with Touring. But that is a little unfair, as I am lucky enough to remember racing when it really was racing. Group B rally cars, British Touring cars that were more like demolition derby's, F1 when the teams were inventive and trying to glean advantage with technology before the FIA stepped in and stopped them pushing the boundaries etc. The modern rally machines are nothing short of amazing pieces of kit, as are most of the high end modern racing machines, but there is some part of me that harkens back to an earlier time.

If it were up there, I would be opting for the tin top saloon car racing, proper British grass roots motorsport. I enjoy watching that more than the choices listed...... I must be getting old, quickly, someone buy me a potting shed.........
