Just joined thought Id say hello:D

Just sold my E46 M3 and fancied a changed so treated myself to an Evo.

56 Plate, Cool Silver, Evo IX FQ-300. 57k, 2 Owners, Full Ralliart Hist and totally standard!
Even the exhaust!

Few little bits need doing, wheels need refurb, discs and pads all round, and the 3 acd lights intermittantly come on:mad: but other than that pretty happy!

Tempted to leave it standard but got the itch to get to at least 350bhp:sneaky: will be looking on here for some support and info:)

Cheers

Welcome, get the AYC sorted first then buy a true 3" exhaust / 3-port / fuel pump / air filter / remap you will be 400bhp....

Godspeed does a full set of grooved discs and pads for £300 delivered I believe.

My evo 9 that i sold yesterday did the triple light also. Never found out why i assumed air in the system after doing a lot of reasearch. Take it to a local specialist and let it be their headache.

I would not advise to fit and drive with out a mapp, buy the stuff and get it all fitted and mapped at the same time to risk any damage

Nice one fella! E46 M3 is a nice car as well. I will say this though 300 won't stay with you long! I went from standard to 380 and now going from that to at least 450! The quest for power never stops and it doesn't matter who you are you always want more!

At 380 my VI makes minch meat of M3'S! Their not even close fella!

Enjoy the world if EVO'S and I doubt very much you will regret it!

Ill second that, my old Evo running 400 smashed m3's out of the park
And the quest for power never stops, although 400 bhp is ample on the roads ....

Cheers for the warm welcome lads :D

Some pics of my M3 and Evo as requested!

And the new toy:wub:

Looking forward to spending some dough on the Evo!:D

Got that dent to sort in the rear panel (last pic)
New Discs and Pads all round, going on next week,
Wheels are being refurbed as we speak.
Then just the AYC looked at, (new pump no doubt) and shes sorted - fresh for some mods:wub:

Anyone recommend anyone local to Cambridgeshire that can see find out whats up with my AYC pump?

Lovely cars. I just sold a phoenix gold convertible M3 and moved to EVO 7. Sounds like a good move from reading the forums so far. Happy motoring mate
