Whats your idea of low mileage?

You modify to please the mind

You maintain to please the car

You dont buy in the first place to please the pocket

Stock will always outvalue modified in the long run

Oh i love your reply's oh wise one:D

Below 50,000 i would say as once they hit over that they do become less desirable and drop around 12%:) But am sure JT you will come up with something to prove me wrong:D

50k is a magic number.

There are a lot of people out there around a certain age group that still believe 100k to be a vehicles total life expectancy. This isnt the case though as improvements in materials used and improving road conditions will stretch this out year by year.

However.....

Look at the maintenance that would be involved in getting an evo to 50k compared to a run of the mill car!

If driven as intended an evo with 50k's value should be £0 as it should be on life support somewhere after having a kick in every day since production.

Well thats my view anyway

its all just numbers! i have 75k on my car and its running fine.. its how the car has been looked after that counts! at the end of the day it is just nut, bolts and metal! which can all be replaced! i think its the demand what makes a car, boat, plane or house more valuable! if everyone wants it to goes to the person with the most cash! if no one was interested in evo's they wouldn't be worth nothing! thats what i think anyway,,, ;)
