Sold my Cream Supercharged EP3, for something a little more "Practical" as first baby is on the way.
Some pics of the Civic. was 302.6 bhp and 197 ft lb's

Was standard when i got it.


So I've now got this:

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI GSR

Full respray in a Purple / Blue / Gold flip paint.

Tein Superstreet Coilovers

Currently running a claimed 330bhp.

Tubular Manifold.

Full Turbo back Exhaust.

18" x 8.5j Kei D2's with Yokohama Prada spec 2's

Official Mitsubishi Boost / Temp / Volt Guages located under Headunit.

OEM Brembo's all round, Recaro Seats, Momo steering wheel, Intercooler Spray

some other bits, Dump Valve etc

couple of little things to tidy up on the car and the car I'm not too keen on the wheels.
So I'll change these eventually.

I know the colour may not be eveyones taste, will probably get a respray in the future. . . Sooner rather than later.


For now the Project will just be the up keep of the car. Nothing to much in the way of modifying.

First thing will be to change all the fluids, and get the car on the Rollers at EvoTune for a full inspection and Check up for my peace of mind.. . . . and also to see the bhp,

Tried some Enkei NT03's on in 17 x 8 j et35 with 225s on and they looked to small.
So I'll be looking for some nice 18's with a good offset. Volks, Advans, Enkei or weds.

The car will be painted eventually. The more I look the more I find little stone chips that are already annoying me. And the guy that painted the Civic did an awesome job so I would be going back to him.

Few little bits bought already.

Also need to buy front engine and diff mounts. I'll buy these in the "Road" spec as I don't want the ride to be excessively hard.

Other purchases with no pics yet.
5 litres Titan Fuchs 75/90 oil for diffs and transfer box. (Found this to be recommended on MLR)
Mahle Oil filter
Gulf Racing engine oil.

Free mod. Brembo's were looking tired and pink so out came the magic T-Cut.
Obviously have aren't brand new again but it's a big improvement.

Bought some new wheels. To change for the 18"s as I think they are a little big for the Evo 6.
Set of 5 speedline challenge 2110 Tarmac rally wheels.
These are a rarer version in 17x7.5j (normally just 7j) et32 so I will be able to run 235 width tyres.
They have just been powder coated the original white. And haven't had tyres in yet.

Just discovered that my wheels are actually produced my Raceline. Not speedline.
You can see the difference in the lip as the speedlines are flat but the Racelines have a small groove.
Speedline bought the company around 2003 making my wheels rare.
And also Forged. Which is also a bonus.
So I won't be ordering Speelind decals

Wheels arrived today,

also finally got my private plate on.

Gave the car a wash and applied the rear "evolution VI" Decal.

Ralliart oil cap arrived and fitted.

With the tyres fitted.
Goodyear Eagle F1, 235/40/17 allround.

Will fit the wheels in the light tomorrow.

Before I fitted the wheels today, Treated the whole wheels, inside and out with SmartWax's "RimWax"
Pretty good Product. Gives a great shine and protects the wheels from brake dust and salty winter roads.

And some pictures of the wheels fitted.
It was getting dark so I had to use long exposure.

Really happy with the look of the wheels. and clear the Brembo's well.
Not had a chance to test the grip of the Goodyear tyres yet.

Got round to re-doing the Brembo's.
I've ordered the decals in white for the callipers.
They were in a pretty bad state, tried cleaning them up with T-Cut but that didn't do much,

Sanded the calipers till they were smooth, then applied the High temperature paint directly. No primer or clearcoat.

after drying they ended up a matte finish, a colour halfway between pillar-box red and Dynorod orange.

Small update.
Repainted the brakes as applied the Brembo decals, I hated the red/orange colour.

All finished with wheel and caliper decals fitted. (I know i only have 4 wheel nuts on in this pic.)

and Rear

Took the car down to EvoTune in Durham to get AYC service. he also replaced the Front Diff, Gearbox and Transfer box oils. I supplied Fuchs 75/90.

and got the car on the rollers for a power run...

...Car came out with a Weedy 280bhp,
Jamie from EvoTune said the car badly needs mapped and should be producing 350bhp.
Getting car mapped ASAP.

also changed a piece of interior trim that has been annoying me since I bought the car.
anyone know why the reason the trim is like this? its the same on both sides.

Good News.

Walbro 255 Fuel Pump arrived.

Bad News.

Radiator died.
burst just as i was pulling into a parking space. :sad:

Straight on a trailer and headed over to Jamie @ EvoTune.

Burst OEM Radiator being replaced with an Alloy one

Found that the problem with the fluid leak was actually a split Radiator.
So the car was sent straight down to EvoTune to get an Alloy replacement.

Fitted a Durocon Gear Knob.
You can also see my Guages in this pic.
Sump Temp, Boost Pressure and Volts. These were fitted by Ralliart :awesome:
(Excuse the grubby winter floor mats.)

Also fitted a genuine Mitsubishi fuel cap as I was using an emergancy one after leaving mine in Shell.

More parts have arrived, its like an early christmas.

• Tial Blow off Valve.
• Stainless top Hardpipe.
• Stainless Coil/Plug Cover.
• Genuine wind deflectors.
• Flatblade Wipers.
• New Fob for Alarm.
• New black vacuum hosing for Radiator and dump valve (too replace blue hoses)

I' still waiting for Stainless slam panel cover too arrive.
I need to order a RossSport intake and a battery relocate as the Tial BOV is massive and goes where the OEM intake hose is at the moment.

Update :
Ive bought a vacuum take off piece. From eBay as Ive been advised I need to T into my intake for my boost controller.

Fitted battery relocation tray but I've had to buy a longer negative cable for the battery relocation kit.(Halfords)
As the OEM doesn't seem long enough?
Also Polished the intake and hard pipe with drill , polishing buff and T-Cut's metal polish.

Will post pics tomorrow.
