We had a blast mate ! Loads of laughs was had by all and the stand looked the mutts nuts ! 2 X's in the morning on display then a IX and a 4 in the afternoon ....I've said it once I'll say it agin .....all members who were there today can be proud !

Strange .....fingers was a complete stranger yet he was welcomed with open arms......perhaps because fingers made an effort too ?

Next time introduce your self properly but tbh I personally spoke to hundreds of people throughout the day including people who weren't members and just wanted to speak about my car and evo's in general !


Well done evoowners for a brilliant day and a friendly welcoming atmosphere ......we did the club proud !

Well I didn't speak to you as ron23 unless you were in a blue evo !!!

So how could we have been more accommodating Ron ??

We had people and kids takin photos of our cars and chatting all day....I had two little lads and there dad even say what a friendly club we were after letting the lads have there photos taken with my car.....I guess you can't please everyone but 1 out of hundreds isn't too bad ?

Well done all who came and made it the day it was and the COMMUNITY we are now !

Just regained consciousness after passing out about 8 last night. We had a great stand, looked awesome there was some real organising went into that. Some top people came over and introduced them selves, cheers for letting me know about me being in the Evo mag Ron ill try and dig that issue out. We had a lot of interest from others.

I saw your. Car Ron lovely car mate. For once a silver 8 was a rare model lol.

Top weekend again people, I only went early cos I didn't want to queue to get out and I was hungry lol

My daughter did come to see you Jonny to say hi. You saw and liked your car but didnt say hi as she wasnt sure from my description which one was you!!

I described you as 'slightly' portly amongst other things :razz:

Her response was I went over but they were all fat so couldn't single him out and was a bit too shy to say hi i'm invisibles daughter in case she made a tit of herself!! lol

Ron23 I'm sorry if you feel that way, I my self did not see you, as I had to walk from one end of pod to the other first thing in the morning to give out tickets and passes, then run around trying to find my girls who had disappeared and had the keys to the car with all the flags, poles and banners in, so the morning was pretty hectic for us.
Also may i add not all members know every member off the forum, there's over 3500 members and some of our members that came were new so please bare that in mind.

The chief was on another stand and I went over there to say hello to him and he's wife and they both came over to our stand, I personally introduced clarkie boi and he's mate on arriving to the rest of the gang and I also introduced tawney to the other members too.

On another note we had fingers come and stay with us, and a black Evo 4 which came and parked up with us too
and he's not even a member but the guys made him feel welcome, all I can think of is you just caught the guys at the wrong time as they had so much going on and wanted their cars clean and trying to get the stand looking good too, all I can say is I'm truly sorry and it was not intentional in any way and I hope it's not put you off attending any shows with us

Your kidding me lol I arrived at pod at 6.40 odd then gave the guys their tickets and passes waited over 2 hours to get in the damn place, then put me tent up and had to go bk home pack the car up with gazebo poles flags and banners and outfits and christ knows what else, then go get clare as she was clueless as to where pod was, then do a tescos run, then go to Kettering to pick up the girls hoodies I had made, then go back to pod and un pack and what not, then I had to meet clarkie boi, then I went to sign on to take me car up the strip but couldn't as it had closed, then I had to meet tawney and giver her her pass and tickets, then I went back out to do a tesco run as everyone had been drinking and I offered to go as I hadn't, and i went kfc on the way bk as the girls wanted that lol it was gone 5.00pm when I finally stopped so i had something to eat signed on and went up the strip till gone
8.00pm I had no chance of getting my car clean lol :cry::cry:

Not good enough

Lol I physically could not get it done in time, I've been working from 7.30am till gone 7.00pm all week, and I have 4 kiddies to look after all by myself too, so I had no chance of doing it or getting it done :sad::sad: but the Next show I've booked 2 days off work the thursday and Friday before so then I'll defo have no excuse
