Why am i being drawn into an online argument with a guy who has a 1.6 escort finesse (with 2l zetec conversion) who seems convinced its just as fast as my evo ???

he is right it is as fast as your evo but only in is dreams and when they are both parked up but the evo still looks faster

An open invitation to zetec drivers and Ford!

I can push an Evo faster off the mark then he can drive his Focus:D

The only time that 0-60 does not matter is on the 1/4 mile, even then, he does not stand a chance, he has a 22+ second car, that is on a good day with a real driver!!!

Tell him to bring it on any time, any place. I have £100 waiting for him if he can beat you buddy.

I will even service his car, sorry, I mean his shed, for the rest of his life, free of charge. The only way a focus with a standard 2.0 zetec lump will beat an Evo is if it is on a plane!!!

By the way, zetec is nothing, they only brought it out because Honda had Vtec! Honda asked them to prove what zetec is and they never got an answer.

When Ford dropped Zeta engines and started to produce them under the zetec guise there was NO difference. When they had Cosworth build their Formula 1 engine, they even named that zetec, what a cheek!!! When confronted by the Lister Team as to how it is zetec they hmmm'd and arrrrrrr'd. The boys at Cosworth were well peeved!!!!

Pathetic!!

Even to this day, you can look every where and any where, you will not get an answer as to what zetec is.

There is even a body kit by Ford know as the zetec kit:confused:

How can you blame this kid when the manufacturer of his car is so full of it, it is only natural that some of it will rub off on him;)

As I said once before, boy racers cars are powered by wet dreams, they will even have a go if a Veron turns up!!!

i have noticed there are a large amount of people that just want to race you when your driving an evo

had a fiesta over take me the other day (tbh a needless and somewhat dangerous overtake aswell so i just gave them room) with his mates in the back flicking Vs and shit blatently trying to bait me, very hard to restrain yourself when you know you can lol

they do seem to be a bit of a magnet for pregnant fish

I was sitting in 3rd doing 95 the other day on the motorway just playig with a 328 we was going for a good ten miles just mucking around and wow nothing broke. Not many scooby or evo owners actually race their cars often without breaking them.

Anyways this is boring now. Think what ya like I just don't get all the ass kissing of jap crap on here

Well he forgot to mention that the 328 could have easily made him into a speck in the rear view mirror. He was sitting at 95???? the 328 can sit at 155, as can the Evo!!!!

This guy is not wrong though, the turbo 2000 is a tractor, the only difference is that a tractor does what it is meant to do. The turbo 2000 is a joke!!! That is why a P reg will cost you around £800. If 0-60's don't matter, ask him to tell us his 0-60 please.

If you both had a race, the road would end before he could hit 110!!!

If he could get over 110, which I very much doubt before the road ended then simple arithmetic dictates that he would need 6.5 miles of stretch at 140 miles per hour to catch you up let alone overtake you.
The Golf VR6 which is the same age as an escort can only manage 137, how does he expect his escort to do more then that??? His valves will hit such a speed that they will be neither open nor shut!!!

Tell him to put his money where his mouth is or go back to school, that is if he ever did go in the first place.

I am surprised he can spell escort! His grammar is what he should be concentrating on. Tell him El said so!!!

i love people like this as it just shows you that their are people out there with brains the size of a peanut!!!!! tell him i race it for pink slips and winner takes all !!!! but i could do with a skip as im having a tidy up and need some where to put my rubbish. lol give that man a slap for me to !!!!!!!!
