Hi,
Just wanted to introduce myself.
My name is Bob, 33 from Luxembourg (yeah, that part of europe outside the UK) and I was referred to this site by Adam (youngy_315) as I'm about to buy his Evo V this weekend!

Some more details about me, I do work at the luxembourg railway, I'm a japanese car fanatic, love trackdays,... And will be around this forum more often ;)

I do run a small blog: monkeymagic's blog
My actual garage looks like this at the moment:
- Mazda MX-5 NC (daily)
- Toyota AE86 (trackday tool)
- and soon an Evo 5 ;-)

Hi and welcome, some nice motors :) Love the AE86, brilliant cars. Wish I'd kept one. They're making crazy money now :(

Yeah, car is home safe and sound. The whole roadtrip was quite a blast. Slight clutch issues in the traffic jam when going home. Next step is retrofit LHD lights, a CAT,... and get that thing registered and MOT'd

You can buy one piece front lights for early evos. These are only availible in lhd so would be ideal :)

Yeah, but the 1-piece don't have any E-number on them, so they aren't legal in my country. I wouldn't pass MOT with those. Bought and mounted some from depo. Ordered yellow indicators to ;)

They wouldn't pass in this country neither as here also the E mark is required but nobody ever checks :)

Small update:
Retrofitted some LHD lights, a cat,... went to MOT and registering and failed.
Got 2 nasty holes in the chassis rail, near the rear axles. And some minor other issues like worn bushes at the front,...
When I was in the UK to inspect the car it was like 6pm and light was pretty bad. Noticed some surface rust underneath the car, but didn't see the real condition of the underside. So I need to get things fixed now :-/
