another new guy...have some q's

hey guys, just joined obviously, has a few (may be dumb) questions. currently dont own an evo YET. been wanting to buy an evo VI GSR for years. being that im american and live here, i wanted to get one imported from japan. was wondering if evo VI's are different in the uk then japan? if so what are they? i have yet to find a website located in this country that sells parts for evo VI's and below because they're not made here

Hi M8 and welcome to Evo Owners.

There are 2 types UK and Imports from Japan.

The Japan ones are the same as what your on about.

ok cool. is there a thread about the differences or could you tell me? an import from japan would be the best but i think imported from the uk would be cheaper. alright thanks again

I would cost up both routes myself and see whats cheapest.

Or source one from the states, even cheaper.

heh well, they are very very hard to come by in the states. but ya ill look into both england/europe and japan and see whats the cheapest. you said there is a difference with uk types and japan types, do you know those differences or can someone else help me out?
