Need advice on a knocking diff

Hey guys
I'm just about to buy a evo 6, first evo i've ever owned. There seemed to be a heavy knocking cumin from the front of the car when the wheel was turned, only seemed to happen when it was going slow.
The chap at the car garage said it had uprated diffs as it was used as a track car and that was the knocking?
Any help would be a great help as its my first evo

hi mate deff sounds like the diff bolts have gone in the transferbox, very common fault but if not fixed will cost alot of money

suspension top mounts and standard lsd diff bolts coming loose are common faults.

but if it has a proper plated diff then these are noisy as well.


....ask him for receipts for the diff
