Default fuel consumption / range

Hi,

Ok i have had my E4 for 2 weeks now

because i am fairly new to Evo,s well owning one anyway

could someone help me with reducing my fuel consumption and what should it be

my driving stile is moderate nutter nothing too bad

like to put my foot down the odd time but you know what its like new toy and all that

but if a few people with E4-5 & 6 could let me know what they get / range on a full tank so that i can tell if i have a problem with the car or just need to let off the gas a little

would V-power help? i use esso excelium or what ever its called 97oct but that only because the garage is 2 seconds away would it be worth trying shell?

it does smell to be running rich is this normal?

thanks for any advice i can get i know evo,s are not exactly economical and i am under no pretence that i can run it on a tenner a week but would like to know if i have a problem that needs fixing

Rob

Buying Good Fuel made a diffrence to me, 97ron instead of normal 95ron unleaded, I'd say about 20% better mpg and alittle extra va va vroom

Expect anything between 100-250 miles to a tank depends on your tune and your driving style.. try to drive off boost as much as possible when your just pottering around

I agree with the above... Try and keep the car at around 2.5k revs when not driving hard.. I know when i had my 4 i managed to empty a tank in 90 miles, But on a long journey i managed 250
