fq 300

hi, recently bought an evo 7 fq 300, is there anyway to verify this on the car apart from the obvious fq 300 badge on the boot. its a 2001 car. also can anyone tell me how many were made? thanks allan

There should be a plaque number somewhere inside the car on the 8 it's by the gearstick

Chassis number would help here. But as said there are tell tale signs, uprated parts and the plaque with number as craig said...

But say the plaque is removed as that's not the be all and end all.

Ah yes billies on a IX or 8MR only and I'm sure the 6 speed was released Evo 8 onwards.

Evo VII Gsr rs and fq models 5 speed.

After all the fq is just a normal imported Gsr but with some badges and a hardpipe kit.

Evo VIII 6 speed fitted to Gsr fq and mr models. Rs has a 5 speed.
