hi guys my evo IV idle's at very unusual levels. It sits at 900 rpm but then can idle up to 2000rpm , it seems to sit there for a while and can range from between 1500- 2000 rising and dropping and will then eventually go back to 900. is this the ISCV. i can hear clicking from the electrical connection block when the ignition is on but the engine off. but i am struggling to remove the connector to check the pins. should that clicking be apparant??? or do i need to continue to try and get the connector off, just dont wanna force it. Finally any idea's on what else it could be or where is best to purchase a new one?? thanks guys

hi my 4 was like that it ended up being ecu temp senser it cost 10.00 to buy 10 mins to fit cheap enough even if it is not that is it some times hard to start wen hot

You're probably best trying to get one second hand.

I've had a look for a new one and even camskill want £245!
