Knocking noise evo 8

just got an evo 8 from a main dealer at the weekend, anyway 4 days on and i have an airbag light and knocking noise from the front.
When turning right its a slight knock like driveshaft or anti rollbar?? turning left there is no noise at all. took it to the garage and they said NORMAL because its 4 wheel drive LOL. iv read it could be a number of things can anyone clarify if there is a common problem and what it is please

Knocking is not normal. They are trying it on. Get back on to them.
Id be especially worried by the airbag light too!

sorted the airbag light the wire was caught under the seat and broke, repaired it and got the code cleared. just this knockin noise they adament it is normal obviously isnt.

still needin help with this knockin noise, main dealer are being no help at all even tho i have a warranty with them. seems to become more apparant after a long journey or when the car has been drivin for a while. Help please

it cud be a couple of tings alrite they sud stand over it do seen as u bought it off them even so is their an uprated diff in the car they do knock alrite but wat id do if u hav a local mechanic tat u normaly go 2 id bring it ta him ask him 2 look over the car it wudn take tem long 2 spot the proplem if its on a lift.. just 2 check the inside the wheel arch incase the splash gard is catchin the wheel or rubin sum wer if the wheels are 2 big its just a thought

cheers for advice, they rang me back sayin they could book it in then never got back to me so im onto the head office now. got a local nissan specialist near me so gonna leave it with him to checkover for me, thanks

Indeed, keep at them. The point in buying from a dealer is paying a premium to avoid all these kinds of issues.

ive got this problem on my 2004 evo 8( knocking at the front sound horrible) does my head in and had it in a few garages and they all say theres no problem on the car, does anyone have any have a answer to this it would be a great help.

thanks for the reply im in manchester, i bout the car from a dealer in yorkshire a while back its a silver 04 gsr, but it was fine then its started a a few months ago
what do you think?

Is it still under warranty???
